Since our charter in July 1937, Highland Post 201 has been welcoming veterans from all branches of our armed forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. The Auxiliary welcomes all spouses and most female relatives of veterans and the Sons welcome all male descendants of veterans. Highland Post 201 is proud to have a great Legion Family working together to promote our programs. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals embodied in our preamble below.

We have excellent facilities for rental functions with three rooms available which will accommodate 100, 175 or 600 persons. Rental price includes hall, tables, chairs, bartenders and cleanup. For pricing and scheduling information please contact our business manager at (502) 458-1525.
Bingo is offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Doors open at 6:00 P.M. with bingo starting at 7:30 P.M. We have 19 games each evening with prizes from $50 for the early bird games to a $1000.00 coverall game. A food kitchen and bar are available for our bingo players.
A chicken dinner is available on the 1st Friday of each month and a fish fry is available on the 3rd Friday starting at 5:00 P.M. We offer dine in or carry out. Food includes both sandwiches and dinners. A bar is available for those wanting an alcoholic beverage.
Karaoke is provided the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month, singing starts at 7:00 P.M. A good time is had by all. Dave VanTassel plays music two Saturday nights a month "Music with Dave" in the Log Cabin. Please watch the schedule of events in The Highlander for dates. Music starts at 7:00 P.M.The Avenue of Flags is flown five times each year on Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, 9-11 and Veterans Day. The flags are donated by the families of deceased veterans.
